Once everything is in position, we begin gluing the seams; to ensure strong, secure bonds, we use joining tape with two-component polyurethane adhesive.
One of the most important steps is the silica sand infill. To ensure proper ball behavior, approximately 15 kilograms of sand per square meter must be applied. This is the recommended amount for artificial turf with a pile height of 11 or 13 millimeters. Depending on the pile height and fiber type, the sand’s grain size, and even specific needs and required playing conditions, a different amount of sand may be necessary.
Infilling with this sand offers numerous advantages, including preventing the turf from shifting and keeping the fibers upright, as well as reducing the risk of injury and enhancing player performance. As a final step, the area must be brushed using professional equipment to ensure everything settles into place and is evenly distributed.
